Horses - Wild and Free
From a very young age Kate loved horses, and being the typical Thelwell small bump on the back of a fat pony was her weekend life from the age of 5 to about 13. A house move intervened and for many years her love of horses was as a spectator, rather than participant.
Having now spent years photographing people Kate added equine photography to her portfolio. In particular she is obsessed with photography of wild horses, and horses unadorned with tack, with or without their owners. Photographing horses, especially in a wild scenario is quite an emotional experience and produces unique glimpses into their lives.
About the Fine Art Print Collection
The Fine Art Print collection began with a visit to the Camargue and a chance to photograph the magnificent White Horses there. Kate’s particular favourites are the stallions in the pond, and coming out of the sea, though some of the herd pictures also make for wonderful pieces of art.
You can now enjoy the results of this trip and acquire a magnificent Limited Edition Print to fill that space on your wall, either in the office or at home.
